“The mission of our Council is to learn about the art of California prior to World War II, to view important and stimulating private collections, to create friendships with fellow art lovers, and to financially support those Institutions that support our Mission.” 


Through grants we have given financial support to the Laguna Art Museum, the Pasadena Museum of California Art, the Oceanside Museum and the Crocker Museum, among others. Our financial support includes assistance in the publication of catalogues, art conservation, and support for exhibitions. For example, at the Irvine Museum, we fund the busing program to bring school children into the Museum.
